Millinery for Film

Alongside designing and making my hats, I’ve also been building hats and headwear since 2012 for Costume for Film here in BC.

From the everyday to the extraordinary, each project presents its own unique challenges and rewards. From crafting quirky turbans, uniform caps, bedazzled flappers, bohemian headdresses, regal crowns, to headwear and millinery for a vast array of interesting and strange characters – it’s always something new, inspiring and super-creative.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the incredibly talented designers, artists, technicians, and other skilled professionals of IATSE Local 891. It’s truly an honour to be part of such a creative community.
